Club Metropolitan opens a new center in Badalona

Last week we accompanied Club Metropolitan´s team when they opened their amazing new centre

Metropolitan Badalona offers 6,000 m2 of spectacular facilities and it is located in a historical meeting point in the city: the place where the old cinemas Picarol used to be.

The new club has got three areas with beautiful natural light where the activities take place. There is also an amazing aquatic area as well as two places where there are a range of free activities, including a specific one for functional training.

The different services available to members include a beauty centre, a coffee shop, a business area with newspapers, free wifi, a restaurant, solarium, and a playroom for children.

The centre lies at the heart of Metropolitan philosophy: design spaces for relaxation, care and training that make you feel like your truly belong to the club.

The chain of centres has a unique pattern of clubs based on providing the best service, including beauty salons and designs with the minimum detail.

The machinery is the highest range of Technogym. Besides, members can choose between various activities to join (yoga, Zumba, body-pump, body-combat, aqua-aerobic, aerostyle, etc).

Metropolitan Club began its work in Barcelona back in 1989 and now it includes 23 centres throughout Spain. These are in Barcelona (6 centers), Madrid (4), Bilbao (2), Zaragoza (2), Sevilla, Badalona, ??La Coruña, Santander (2), Torrelavega, Vigo, Gijon and Murcia. On the other hand, as a member of a club you can join any centre, wherever you are, meaning that keeping fit whilst traveling is now even easier.
